Being a woman is truly inspiring.
Being a woman means that I can look like a tomboy in the morning and become a goddess at night.
Being a LATINA woman means that people will doubt my skills, but I prove them wrong every time.
Being a LATINA woman means that when I make it, my whole family makes it. From the states, all the way to Cuba.
Support all the ladies in your life.
Be proud of who you are!
I am a proud LATINA and no one will ever take that away from me.
With everything that has been going on lately, I decided to dedicate this post to women all over the world. Boomerang Boutique, located in Indianapolis, IN, was kind enough to send me a T-shirt that inspired this whole topic! The tee says “Fight like a girl” and honestly, we all have to fight for what we want in our lives! Truly love this message and also really happy to able to support a local business and a FEMALE! Please go check out boomerangboutique.com, promise you will fall in love :).
P.S… they have free shipping so if that doesn’t incline you to shop, I don’t know what else will!
So, for the rest of my outfit, it was mostly DIY and thrift store bought. The blazer is by Lauren Ralph Lauren from a random thrift store here in Indianapolis. Now for the Levis pants, I actually DIYed those. I sewed the pockets to the front. It was something different I saw on Instagram and decided to do it myself!
If you can peep the belt, I made that one from scratch! It was made from a night of procrastination in the sewing lab (of course because why actually do something you’re supposed to do?) As for the Dior saddle bag (which has been my latest obsession) I bought on Poshmark. If it wasn’t for my really good friend in New York telling me about it, I wouldn’t have it in my possession at the moment! And the shoes are from Forever 21!
I would like to give a big shoutout to women all over the world and to Boomerang Boutique for inspiring this post!
